Diagnosis

Your input contains characters that are not:

  • Alphanumeric
  • Permitted special characters

System Response

The system stops further processing of the action.

Procedure

  • Enter an alphanumeric input that complies with the project coding mask defined for the master project type.
  • Use only permitted special characters.

Procedure for System Administration

To allow the use of a special character, change the settings in the Customizing activity Define Special Characters for Projects under Customizing for Project System -> Structures -> Operative Structures -> Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) -> Project Coding Mask.
