Diagnosis

No separate BW system is required for the CRM interactive reporting functionality. Instead, the SAP NetWeaver stack that comes with SAP CRM can be used to run CRM reports on the same machine. In order to activate these CRM reporting functions, the following steps are required.

System Response

CRM interactive reporting can only be used when a dedicated BW client is available.

Procedure

Create a dedicated BW client in your CRM system.

We do not recommend that you do this in the same client, though it is possible. For more information, see SAP Note 1146395.
