Diagnosis

Base unit of measure of the CU material can't be changed.

System Response

CU will not be saved.

Procedure

Try to change base unit of measure of the material directly via transaction MM02. Transaction MM02 will provide detailed information of the reason why base unit of measure can't be changed.
