Diagnosis

Check the input value of the parallel quantity.

Example

For CW materials the parallel quantity can change during the quality check, for example, the weight can increase due to absorption of water or decrease due to drying out.
This means that when reducing the workload of the inspection lot (the quantity to be posted is zero), there is a remaining quantity for parallel quantity to be posted.

Description Piece kg
Create inspection lot: 100 1000
Usage decision: 100 980

Residual remaining quantity for inspection lot reduction: 20kg

Procedure

Warning message

If this message is displayed as a warning, and you confirm the entry, the system automatically clears the remaining quantity with the following movement types:

  • The lot quantity is in unrestricted stock ,,=> Movement types CI1 or CI2
  • Lot quantity is in stock in quality inspection => Movement types CI3 or CI4

Error message

If the message is an error message, the parallel quantity for the inspection lot reduction must match the original parallel quantity exactly. Only if this is so can the system reduce the inspection lot in stock and correctly post it.

Procedure for System Administration

You can set the status of this message in Customizing view /CWM/V_T160M. This message is configured as a warning message in the standard system.

Note

If the inspection lot is in the GR blocked stock, the message is configured as an error messasge in the standard system, and you cannot change it using Customizing view /CWM/V_T160M.
