/ACCGO/IRMPOL2 - Maintain ILM Policies and Rules

In this Customizing activity, you maintain the Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) policies and rules.

You must first define audit areas and assign ILM objects to them before maintaining ILM policies and rules.

You maintain existing policies and rules by selecting the Policy Category as either Residence Rules or Retention Rules, selecting the Object Category as either SAP Business Suite or Paper Documents and selecting the Audit Area. When you press Continue the system populates the ILM Object previously assigned.

On the next screen, press Edit to maintain the Policies. You must set the Policy Status to Not Live by pressing Change Status before you can maintain the Rules for the selected policy.

In the Table of Contents, choose Using ILM Retention Management in the Application System -> Editing ILM Policies and Applying ILM Rules to Data.
