/ACCGO/VC_FSW - Activate Feature-Switch

You use this Customizing activity to activate or deactivate feature-switches.

1. Activate Client-wide Switch Status

This allows feature-switches to be activated or deactivated client-wide. In other words, the activation status of the switch will be independent of organizational data. However, only feature-switches that are marked as 'Reversible' can be deactivated after they have been activated.

1. Activate Feature-Switch at the Org Level

This is only relevant for feature-switches that have been marked as reversible. At run-time, the activation status of a feature-switch will be determined based on the following access-sequence:

• Sales Scenarios:

- Company Code,, Sales Org ,,Distribution Channel,, Division ,,Plant

- Company Code,, Sales Org,, Distribution Channel,, Division

- Company Code ,,Sales Org ,,Distribution Channel

- Company Code ,,Sales Org

- Company Code

• - Purchase Scenarios:

- Company Code,, Purchase Org,,Plant

- Company Code ,,Purchase Org

- Company Code

The activation status of a feature-switch at the organizational level supersedes the activation status at the client level. The activation status at the client level is relevant only if the activation status cannot be determined at the organizational level.

The Agricultural Contract Management (ACM) feature-switches are delivered as inactive at the client-level via the non-cascading switch BC set /ACCGO/V_FSWSTS_CLIENTSW_STAT. Organizational level feature-switch activation status is not delivered by ACM.

Example

The switch BC set /ACCGO/V_FSWSTS_CLIENTSW_STAT also serves as an example of how the 'Activate Client-wide Switch Status' Customizing can be maintained.
