This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the sales and distribution (SD) component. You use this BAdI to filter contracts for display when a sales order is created without giving reference to the contract, and there are open contracts for the material.

Method

Select Active Contracts Based on Customer Rules

By implementing this BAdI, you can cross check requested delivery date on the call-off with that of the contract's. Also, you can have multiple contracts open at the same time with the same validity period and different requested delivery dates, which gives you more flexibility when placing orders.
