SAP E-Book

The standard transaction authorizations restrict access to allocation groups (AGs) and Customer Service Areas (CSAs).

  • Authorization object: S_TCODE
Fields: TCD
Transactions: /AFS/CSA_HANDLING - Handling
/AFS/CSA_MAINTENANCE - Reorganization
/AFS/MTE01 - Assignment (AG and CSA)
/AFS/MTE02 - AG maintenance
/AFS/MTE03 - Refresh quantity (R, F, D)
Users can maintain all the CSAs for which they are responsible. Their designated substitutes (a specific rule) also have full authorization to maintain the same CSAs.
  • Authorization object J_3A_CSA_S allows you to maintain other authorizations for CSA super users, such as administrators, managers, and consultants.
Authorization object:,,S_TCODE
Fields:,,,,ACTVT (not used)
  • Within the ARun Optimizer type, you can make the restrictions user-dependent.

ARun Optimizer Functions

Each function within the ARun Optimizer has a special authorization check.

Authorization object: J_3A_ARMTT

Fields: J_3AMTFCO

Values: 1RAL Allocation

1DEA Deallocation

1REA Reallocation

1ADJ Adjust

1SUB Substitution

1SUA Substitution simulation

1REL Release

1RCK Release check

1BLC Block

1UDO Undo

1STC Status

1FLG Flag

1FLU Deflag

1REF Flag for rejection

1REU Unflag for rejection

1REJ Reject immediately

The authorization checks are performed at the start of the transaction. The corresponding function (button) will be hidden if the required authority is missing.

Users who have none of these authorizations are still able to display their own CSAs. If users need to see other CSAs, they need authorization as CSA super users.

CSA/CSR-Specific Authorization Checks

CSRs (Customer Service Representatives) have all authorization for their own CSAs.

Each substitute can be assigned an authorization role. If no authorization role is assigned to the substitute, that substitute has full access to the CSA . Thus, the use of roles is optional.

For example, you can define a rule for 'Release'. Substitutes that have only this rule assigned to them can only release orders. They cannot use other functions, such as deallocation.

User can only display allocation groups to which they are assigned as either a CSR or substitute.

You can maintain roles using transaction /AFS/CSA_ROLES (or transaction SM34 view cluster /AFS/MT2_ROLES_VCV).

If a user has the authorization object 'J_3A_CSA_S' (super user authorization), no authorization roles are checked.

CSR Stock

Authorization object 'J_3A_CSAST' allows a user to consume unrestricted stock. If a user does not have this authorization, the 'Stock source' option will not appear on the screen.

The transaction to move stock between free available and different CSRs is restricted by the transaction authorization check.
