/AFS/SIMGBC_FABRICCD - Define Fabric Content Codes

Here you can maintain fabirc content codes for your materials. You can then enter a defined fabric content in the material master as additional information for your end user or for the external system.

Activities

You define your fabric content in the following steps:

1. Maintain the fabrics that make up your material.
2. You define an alphanumeric key and enter a description.
3. You maintain codes by which you want to distinguish the possible fabric content.
4. You define an alphanumeric key and enter a description.
5. Assign the code to the fabrics. Enter for each fabric its percentage in the fabric content. By assigning sequence numbers you can decide in which sequence the fabrics should be displayed when using the codes in the material master.

Purpose

Several different materials of your company have the same fabric content, 80 percent cotton and 20 percent linen. You can visibly store this information in the material master if you create a fabric content code for this material.
