/AFS/SIMGMRP_CTRL - Define General AFS-Specific Control Parameters

In this section you can carry out general, MRP-relevant settings for a plant.

Define the following MRP-relevant parameters per plant:

• Depending on whether it is an in-house produced material or an externally procured material, the planning run creates purchase requisitions or planned orders for the planned independent requirements. For this you must create number ranges.

• Maintain the SKU horizon and decide whether you want to carry out the horizon using SKU horizon method 1 or SKU horizon method 2.

• Define the pegging logic for the MRP of planned independent requirements and customer requirements.

Restrict the number ranges for planned orders, purchase requisitions, and planned independent requirements. Specify the SKU horizon and determine the pegging logic.

If you do not want to specify the SKU horizon method for a plant but rather for a material, you must maintain the method in the AFS MRP view of the material master. You can find further information in the application help.
