In this IMG section you can make special settings in AFS for already existing schedule lines.

The schedule lines are especially important in AFS. The stock keeping units of each and every AFS material are stored as schedule lines in the sales document. At least one schedule line is created in the sales document for each SKU.

Activities

  • For each schedule line category you can store a completion rule and in so doing, activate this function at SKU level as well.
  • If you want to use the schedule line for third-party orders or for the process of the purchase-to-order or the make-to-order production, assign a corresponding AFS order type to the schedule line. If necessary, enter how the data should be transferred from the sales document to the purchase order document in these processes by using the corresponding settings for the item and account assignment category.
  • In addition, you can store an incompletion procedure, with which you can also check AFS (specific) fields for completeness of the data at SKU level in the sales document.

You can only make AFS-specific settings in already existing schedule line categories. If you want to use your own schedule line categories, you must first define them in the corresponding R/3 standard IMG node.

We recommend that you copy the schedule line categories defined by SAP and then make the necessary AFS-specific settings in the copy.
