/AFS/SIMGSD_VASDTPRC - Define Determination Procedure

In this section you define the procedure with which you want to run the determination procedure of the VAS-conditions in the system. You can enter a VAS-determination procedure per sales document type.

If you assign condition types per procedure (and thus the access sequences assigned to them), you can control per sales document which condition tables the system should call in the application when checking exsting VAS-conditions.

In the Standard AFS System a VAS-determination procedure VAS001 is available to which both (Standard AFS) condition types VAST and MSO are assigned. You should not change or remove this procedure.

If you need further VAS-determination procedures in your company, you can define them by entering an alphanumeric key with a maximum of six digits and by assigning a short text.

Using the control, you can assign condition types to your procedure and you assign a sequence number to each condition type. In the application, the system checks the VAS-conditions (depending on which VAS-determination procedure you entered for the document) based on the condition type to which you have assigned the lowest number in the determination procedure. If the system does not find any VAS-conditions, it accesses the condition type with the next lowest number in the determination procedure and so on.
