/AFS/SIMGSD_VASSPSRV - Define Special Service Types

Apart from special ticketing/labeling requests, your customers often have other special requests for how to deliver the ordered goods. These special services can be, for example, to attach belts to pants or skirts or to add extra buttons or shoe laces. In the system you map such services that increase the value of the goods, by using special service types. You uniquely define these by assigning an indicator and entering a short text.

With the indicator you and the system can distinguish between the different special service types.

With the short text you enter which special service should be performed before delivery. Be sure to choose an informative short text, so that the goods are correctly processed, in case you have not sent a VAS-material with the special service that defines this service.

You can change the short text of a special service type any time, even if you have already used or currently use the service type. You should only delete a special service type if you no longer use it with valid VAS-conditions.

A customer who orders sport shoes for further sales wants to meet better sales figures by increasing the attractivity of the shoes. Therefore he requests that your warehouse provides all ordered shoes with laces in fashionable colors. For this you define in Customizing a special service type lace color xyz fix laces and assign the service type to the customer by using conditions or directly in the order.
