/AIN/EVENT - Define Device Controller Event

In this IMG activity, you define the events (occurrences) for which the device controller should send notification messages to SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure (SAP AII). Depending on the manufacturer, some device controllers require that you define such a list of events.

Examples of such events include the following:

RFID Device Event Name		RFID Device Event Description
evError		Error event
evIssued		Issued event
evLost		Lost event
evObserved		Observed event

You obtain the RFID Device Event Name and RFID Device Event Descriptionfrom the documentation for the individual device. After you have defined the device events in the IMG, you assign them to RFID device controllers when you define device subscription parameters on the SAP Easy Accessscreen under Auto-ID Infrastructure → Master Data → Devices → Device Subscription.
