Note:

This Customizing setting is only relevant if you are using additional components in the applications for financial products. This setting is not relevant for any other applications.

In this Customizing activity, you specify the components for which the market data is to be set to active. For the supplied components, the use of market data differs in terms of how interest is blocked.

• Financial Products Subledger

Interest is blocked at market data area level.

• Transactional Banking

The combination of market data area and reference interest rate is used. In addition, reference interest rates in Transactional Banking can no longer be processed once a specific amount of time has passed since creation. You control this using the class names for checking interest.

Specify the components for which the market data is to be set to active. For the Transactional Banking component, also specify the class name for checking interest.

If you specify both Financial Products Subledger and Transactional Banking as active components, the system always takes the settings for the Transactional Banking component into account. This means that the lock procedure defined in these settings is also applied to Financial Products Subledger.
