This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Billing (CRM-BE) component.

This BAdI enables you to control under which conditions cancellation of billing documents takes place, and which data is copied from billing documents to cancellation documents.

You have checked whether the following default Customizing settings relating to this BAdI meet your requirements:

  • Assignment of copying requirements for cancellation to the relevant billing types (activity Define Billing Types)

The following implementations are active in the standard system and are relevant for claims and funds management only. Note that cancellation is always possible if the preceding transaction has been rejected.

  • BEA_BILL_PREPAYMENT (Prepayment: Check Status/Ref. Inv. Claim)
Allows cancellation of a billing document for a prepayment settlement if the following are true:
  • The prepayment does not have an error status.

A prepayment can have an error status if clearing has taken place in accounting for a dispute case.

  • The prepayment is not included in a collective prepayment.

  • BEA_BILL_SETTLEMENT (Claim: Check of Claim Submission Status)
Allows cancellation of a billing document for a claim settlement if the claim submission is not closed. The claim submission is the master object for the whole process. If it has been closed the dependent objects cannot be changed, otherwise data would become inconsistent.
  • BEA_BILL_SETTL_STAT (Claim: Check of Payout Status)
Allows cancellation of a billing document for a claim settlement if the accounting document for the settlement has not yet been paid out.

The BAdI definition is filter-dependent. A filter value with the same description is provided for each of the above implementations.
