In this IMG activity you define the condition groups for SAP financial mathematics. This determines the parameters for the interest calculations in contract handling. With the calculation category, you classify calculation rules and posting rules for processing the condition types in the cash flow calculation. The system can tell which calculation rules the respective movement type is based on from the relationship between calculation category and movement category.
The standard delivery contains the condition groups for SAP financial mathematics that are required in contract handling.
Use the standard condition groups. Do not modify or enhance the entries, since they are tailored to the requirements of SAP financial mathematics.
