/BEV3/CHCWS_PRO - Value date process

In this IMG activity you link value date processes with baseline date strategies. Contract handling uses a period pattern to valuate contract postings. This is the required procedure, since posting movements often occur at times at which a value date is not permitted. The value date process determines a new baseline date from the baseline date (posting date or document date) and baseline date strategy.

The standard delivery contains table entries for the value date process. You can copy and modify these entries, or define your own.

Assign the value date process a numeric key of up to four characters and a name. Assign the baseline date and a baseline date strategy. Specify the value date category.

You should only make entries in this IMG activity if you require a range of different value dates.
