In this IMG activity you specify the contract movement types you require for contract handling. Define one special contract movement type for each posting movement that affects contract handling. You can also define additional contract movement types that you only use for aggregation. You should, however, exclude these from direct posting. The system uses the contract movement types to map industry-specific business transactions in financial accounting.

The standard delivery contains common contract movement types.

Use all the contract movement types from the standard table, or only the ones you require. You can also copy and modify selected contract movement types, or create your own.

If you process credit-side contracts using customer accounts, you must create separate contract movement types for this.
