In this IMG activity you define event listener classes. You can use event listener classes to classify event listeners according to the evaluation of information for which the event listeners are responsible.
Event listener class account: Assignment of events to dates or contracts in order to trigger settlement. According to business parameters such as company code, movement type, contract type, and posting key, the relevant dates are first determined irrespective of whether or not they are contained in a particular contract.
Event listener class assessment FI: Enters selected business data for the events that is used as selection criteria for the event ledger during the settlement of event-driven dates in the valuation FI. You can define the criteria for which you want the event data to be collected (movement type, company code, and posting key). The event listeners are stored in a table.
Event listener class contract handling (default event listener class): Events for which errors occurred during distribution are collected. The records are written to a table with the error number. The events stored in the table are passed on at regular intervals to the distribute procedure. The collected events can be displayed using report CHEVLIDEFAULT and flagged for deletion if necessary.
The standard delivery contains event listener classes with the corresponding function modules.
Use the standard event listener classes or enter your own. You must also provide your own function modules.
If errors occur when events are processed, the status "for reserve" is set and the event is passed on to the event listener contract handling. The status of the data record is changed to RESERVED.
