In this IMG activity you maintain additional In link types and the corresponding link locations. You always create an In link type variant if you have to import several link types for an agreement (agreement class and rule identifier). By doing this, you specify which additional data is provided for the settlement. The In link type variant is only taken into account in the agreement in which it is assigned.

The standard system contains default table entries for In link type variants.

Use the standard table entries. If necessary, you can also enter your own In link type variants.

You can use modules whose structure (link type) contains more information than is necessary. However, if a field is missing from the structure this triggers an exception.

For a unique assignment, the agreement Fixed percentage interest provides interest calculation parameters (interest rate). For example, you can use an In link type variant (variant link location) to gather all the capital movements required for interest calculation.
