In this IMG activity you specify function modules for date control. Using the assigned function modules, the system determines the settlement date and the valid settlement period. The date is then checked, and the basic data is retrieved. The date is canceled if a serious exception occurs during the check or the data retrieval.
The standard delivery contains the function modules for date control (settlement date and purchase control date).
Use the standard entries for date control. If necessary, you can replace the standard function modules for date control with your own function modules.
An exception message is generated if there is an exception. Processing is canceled for the current date. Subsequent dates are settled.
