In this IMG activity you define the contract handling document classes (CHD classes). The CHD class is a classifying characteristic. All contracts in the same CHD class are subject to the same check rules. When you maintain CHD classes, you can assign each class its own dialog modules. The dialog modules control the maintenance screen and support the maintenance functions.

The standard delivery contains the table entries for CHD classes.

Use the CHD classes you require for your application. You only need to make additional table entries if you want to use your own CHD classes supported by your own software.

Different demands are made upon the CHD according to the CHD type. CHD maintenance has therefore been set up as an exchangeable dialog module. A different dialog module can be called to maintain the CHD depending on the Customizing settings. This allows you to implement your own dialog modules for CHD maintenance.

• Depreciation contract

• Purchase commitment

• Allowance
