In this IMG activity you define the default value date. This determines which value date service should be used when no value date service is defined in the contract handling document for the value date.
The default value date is part of the value date service. The value date service only functions once you have performed all IMG activities in the value date section.
The standard system contains the posting date as the default value date. You can use the posting date or the document date.
Define the default value date on the level of the CH organizational unit. Assign a base value date. You can use the posting date or the document date but you may not use any other entries.
If you do not need any other differentiated value dates you do not need to make any entries in this Customizing section.
