In this IMG activity you enter all the number range objects from contract handling. For the standard system functions you require the following number range objects:

• /BEV3/CHAB Settlement runs

• /BEV3/CHBK Purchase control results

• /BEV3/CHBU Posting document

• /BEV3/CHEG Enhancement document

• /BEV3/CHLE Sequence number for external amounts

• /BEV3/CHOB Objects (sales places)

• /BEV3/CHSO Contract handling assortments

• /BEV3/CHVD Contract handling document numbers

A number range object defines the typical characteristics of number range intervals that are connected in business terms. Each number range object is uniquely identifiable by its name.

The standard SAP system contains number range objects for contract handling.

Check whether you can use the number range objects provided. If necessary, change the number range objects provided or define your own. Likewise, if necessary, enter or change the descriptions for number range objects.

The number range object /BEV3/CHAB defines the characteristics of the number range objects for settlement runs in contract handling.
