In this activity, you define search types that can be used by the payload search function.

You can assign one or more search categories to a search type. A search category defines the kind of search index that is created.

The following search categories are available:

• Full Payload

This category creates a search index of the complete message payload. The number and size of message payloads affects the size of the search index, and the performance of the search. If you use this search category, keep the search index at a manageable size, for example, by deleting old search index entries or by setting short retention times.

• XML Tag Values

This category creates a search index by only reading the XML tag values of a payload. This limits the data volume of the search index.

• MT940

This category creates a search index only with specific fields of MT940 bank statement payloads.

• CAMT.053

This category creates a search index only with specific fields of CAMT.053 bank statement payloads.

• PAIN.002

This category creates a search index only with specific fields of PAIN.002 payment status report payloads.
