In this activity, you assign the process code and status for the entitlements to the complaints and returns process transactions. Entitlements created from these transactions will carry the respective process and status you assigned in this activity.

Example: You want to create entitlements in the status Approvedfor the approval of used part return requests quantities. You assign the process code 'CRET' and status 'APPR'. In case of an approval of the customer used part returns request item, a new entitlement is created with the process code 'CRET' and Status 'APPR'. Note: The status affects only the entitlement transaction records.

You also maintain the summarization level with respect to the product hierarchy. The following values are possible:

• Product category : If the summarization level is set to product category, the system will generate summary records at the product category level. All sub-categories and products belonging to the product category will be summarized under the product category.

You can maintain the summary level on the SAP Easy Access Screen, under Industries → Entitlements Management → SummaryEntitlements → Maintain SummaryRelevancy.

• Product : When the summarization level is set to product, the system will generate summary records for each product.
