This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Project Cost and Revenue Planning (CA-CPD-FP)component. You use this BAdI to transfer cost and revenue values planned across different business objects in a commercial project.

This BAdI definition is called whenever a transfer process to S/4HANA is initiated from the financial planning application.

To define the object types on which you create financial plans, you must complete the following activities in Customizing under Commercial Project Management -> Master Data -> Commercial Project:

  • Make Settings for Objects
  • Define Object Links and Logical Systems

To initiate the transfer process, you have completed the following activities in Customizing under Project Cost and Revenue Planning -> Transfer Data:

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

The default BAdI implementation contains logic to identify dependent object types for a plan item. For example, if the planning is carried out for an SAP Portfolio and Project Management project, the phases and tasks are the dependent object types. Based on the dependent object type, the implementation also determines the assigned object to which costs and revenues are posted. For example, the account assignment for a phase in an SAP Portfolio and Project Management project is made against a WBS element.

Thus WBS element is derived as the assigned object to which costs and revenues are transferred.
