/CPD/VC_STG_PROFIL - Make Settings for Stages

In this Customizing activity, you define stages to indicate the status of commercial projects. You can also create stage profiles to represent the life cycle of different commercial project types in your business environment.

1. Define stages according to your business need.
2. Create a stage profile by grouping logically-related stages together. You can also define the possible stages that indicate the start of a commercial project, and one stage to indicate completion.
3. For each stage in a profile, you also define the possible subsequent stages that a user can set.

The standard delivery of Project Workspace (CA-CPD-WS) provides the following settings:

• Stage Profile

• Standard Stage Profile

• Stages

• New

• In Process

• Completed

To complete the Customizing setting for stages, assign stage profiles to commercial project types by choosing Commercial Project Management -> Master Data -> Commercial Project -> Make Settings for Commercial Projects.
