You use this Customizing activity to make the following settings for transfer strategies:

• Define transfer strategies

• Assign multiple transfer methods to a transfer strategy

For example, the transfer strategy can include two transfer methods: one for the quantity update of the network activity and one for the cost update of the work breakdown structure.

• Define characteristic values for the transfer strategy by configuring combinations of characteristics from the planning cube

The filtered characteristic values specified are updated in the corresponding SAP ERP system. For example, you can select Plan Currency and UoM (Unit of Measurement) as relevant for transfer to the SAP ERP system.

• Network activity quantities are updated in Project System (PS).

• Cost and revenue are updated in Controlling(CO) based on the settings in the Customizing activity Define Version Types
