You use this Customizing activity to define multiple risk categories that can later be assigned to relevant risk profiles.

Example

A project manager can create the following risk categories for internal projects and external projects:

• Risk Profile: Internal Projects

• Risk Category: Cross-Staffing

• Risk Category: Software Licenses

• Risk Profile: External Projects

• Risk Category: Hiring

• Risk Category: Contracts

For Standard Risk Profile, the following risk categories are delivered in the standard:

• Project Development

• Design

• Bidding

• Construction

• Closeout

• Administration

• Environmental

• Health and Safety

• Cash Flow

• Liability
