You use this Customizing activity to:

• Activate or deactivate the batch processing of certain features in the plan header.

• Optionally define a server group for a selected function.

SAP delivers batch processing as the standard setting for the following features in the plan header:

• Copying of versions

• Transfer

• Import

• Valuation

• Forecast

When you deactivate the standard setting, the system sets the processing mode as dialog processing.

Recommendation

We recommend that you also consider system tuning for performance reasons.
