In this Customizing activity, you define the Laytime required for planning in the Delivery section of the deal details when the selected Mode of Transport is Marine (M).
In a broad sense, it specifies the time the ship is in port. For a charter contract, it indicates the agreed time for the ship to be available in the port to handle the loading or discharge operations.
- Choose New Entries.
- Enter the following data:

| Laytime | Enter a code with up to four characters for laytime. |
| Laytime Description | Enter a description of the laytime code. |
| Run.Hours | Enter the running hours. |
| HoursAfter | Enter the hours after. |
| MinHours | Enter the minimum hours. |
| ProRata | Enter the pro rata part code. |
- Save your entries.
