/DSD/VC_VPTYPE - Define Visit Plan Types

In this menu item, you define your own visit plan types. The visit plan type is defined in the definition of the visit plans and lists and thus controls their processing. You define the following:

• Whether a visit list or a shipment is the leading document

• Whether goods receiving hours or visiting hours are displayed

• Which number range intervals should be used

• Which calendar type will be considered.

In addition, the visit plan type determines which parameters are used for dynamic transportation planning and which visit plan type is used for manual shipment creation from the tour master. You can also enter default values for driving time and waiting times.

Example for settings in "Relevant Documents" area, dependent on the requested driver role:

• Delivery driver:
  You have to set the "Shipment Document" and "Ship Delivery" indicators

• Van seller:
  You have to set the "Visit List Document" and "Shipment Document" indicators

• Mixed driver:
  You have to set all three indicators in this case

• Preseller:
  You only have to set the "Visit List Document" in this case
