In this activity, you configure data retention for the accounting views and generate a number of required objects in the BW system. The transaction controls the entire view of the accounting view on the Business Warehouse.

If you want to configure data retention for an accounting view, this must be registered and have been activated in the data basis. The same applies for all journals from which you want the view to procure data.

If you want to use a BW system for storing transaction data (you make the choice of BW system per view), you must have connected this previously to the data basis, so that Financials Basis can ensure the consistency of the registered InfObjects.

A guide for the entire transaction is provided in the information on the right of the screen.
