In this section, you define codes for Intrastat declarations.

You can specify all the necessary information in the statistical reports on intra-nation trade, dependent on country, and send the declarations to the respective authorities in the proper data formats.

You are required to report information regarding your company's goods movements with other countries or statistical regions of the European Union. You provide information about receipts and dispatches of Community goods in intra-community trade, which lets the statistical, national, and EC authorities and organizations analyze trade activities. These analyses provide information in such diverse areas as competitiveness or dependencies in goods movements of certain industry products.

You need to specify certain information in Intrastat declarations for receipts and dispatches. Some of this information must be reported in country-specific codes.

The codes are mandated by the respective national authorities and can vary depending on the country of declaration. This is why you need to define the Intrastat codes for your business transactions separately for each country.

You can define default values (including business transaction type, procedure) that are proposed when entering Intrastat declarations.

Check which Intrastat codes the authorities in your declaration country require in the Intrastat declarations. Then choose the respective activities to check and adjust the standard delivery settings where necessary.
