In this Customizing activity, you create new price types or change existing price types.
You can only create of change price types of classes C or V.
You cannot change prices types of class S, nor create them.
Price type classes:
| C: | Customer-defined price type |
| V: | From the valuation alternatives defined price type |
| S | System defined price type |
SAP supplies the following standard price types (among others):
- C00,,Inventory Price
- C01,,Moving Average Price/Periodic Unit Price
- C02,,Standard Price
- C03 Future Price
Change the default price types in the detail view, or create new price types.
Go to the detailed view of the price types. Enter the following for each price type:
- Short text (entry is mandatory)
- Medium text (entry is mandatory)
- Long text (entry is mandatory)
- Price periodicity (input help)
Depending on which indicator is set, the price type is available for a change history, for manual changes, or for the future price.
Save your entries.
