You can use this BAdI if you want the forecast replacement data (open orders, aggregated order forecast, planning data) of the multi-echelon scenario to be used as an Additive Correction Value (D) instead of a total forecast replacement on the distribution center (DC) level.

This might be needed in a scenario where the distribution center:

  • Controls the flow of goods to the stores
  • Fulfills direct customer orders
  • The Order Forecast provision must be enabled on the store level.
  • Multi-echelon (forecast replacement data for DCs) must be enabled in the requirements calculation profile.

Change the value c_dif_typefrom "Absolute Correction Value" (A) to "Additive Correction Value" (D).

If the DIF type is changed to any other value than "Additive Correction Value" (D), the system will use the default type "Absolute Correction Value" (A).
