This BAdI allows you to implement your own aggregation and disaggregation methods for different time series. It also allows you to implement a process prior to changing or deleting time series data.

  • The standard aggregation and disaggregation methods delivered by SAP do not meet your requirements
  • You need to add another step (for example, logging or checking data) prior changing or deleting time series data

Method for disaggregating the supplied time series table. The following information is supplied by importing parameters:

  • Granularity type (day or week)
  • Standard disaggregation mode delivered by SAP
  • Distribute Entry Over All Buckets

  • Copy Entry into All Buckets

  • Calendar information
  • Key figure parameter

Method for aggregating the supplied time series table. The following information is supplied by importing parameters:

  • Standard aggregation mode delivered by SAP
  • Add All Entries

  • Determine Mean of All Entries

  • Copy the Last Corresponding Bucket to Target Bucket

  • Determine Minimum of All Entries

  • Determine Maximum of All Entries

  • Calendar information

Method for logging or checking time series data before updating. The following information is supplied by importing parameters:

  • Control structure for update access
  • Granularity type (day or week)

  • Key figure parameter

  • From TimeStamp

  • To TimeStamp

  • Indicator specifying whether null or zero values will be written
  • Table of time series data

Exporting parameters:

  • Message table

Method for logging or checking time series data before deleting. The following information is supplied by importing parameters:

  • Location table
  • Material table
  • Key figure table
  • From TimeStamp
  • To TimeStamp
  • Primary granularity indicator
  • Secondary granularity indicator

Exporting parameters:

  • Message table

Implement the relevant method to change the aggregation or disaggregation functions.

Implement the relevant method to add a process before updating or deleting time series data.
