In this Customizing activity, you enter the policyholder's claim-free discount class when he or she terminates the insurance policy at your insurance company before his or her policy expires and takes out a new policy with another insurance company.
When policyholders take out insurance policies with a different insurance company, the system calculates a payment class on the basis of the claim-free discount class and the number of claim chains. You fill out the segment three form with the payment class and the policyholder provides the new insurance company with the segment three form so that the new insurance company can calculate the premium correctly.
