/IBPP/R3_DEF_MM0C_RE - BAdI: Relevance Checks for Goods Receipts

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the SAP GTS, identity-based preference processing component. You use this BAdI to control the goods receipt items that are relevant for IBPP.

The BAdI is called when a goods receipt is posted. The result is used in the following processes:

• Creation of Identity-Based Vendor Declarations

In this process, the BAdI is called only if the movement type of the goods receipt is marked as relevant in Customizing activityDefine Relevant Movement Types.

If the goods receipt item is determined as relevant, the system creates a vendor declaration with ID in IBPP. As a result, the GTS plug-in does not consider this goods receipt item as relevant anymore and the system does not create any workload table entry (/SAPSLL/PREVDWLI) in GTS.

• Creation of a workload table entry for process or production orders

In this process, the BAdI is only called if the movement type of the goods receipt is marked as relevant in Customizing activity Define Settings for Order Transfer. You can use this BAdI to control the goods receipt items that should be considered when creating the workload table for production or process orders.

• You have defined the relevant movement types for transfer of goods receipts in Customizing activity Define Relevant Movement Types.

• You have defined the settings for order transfer Customizing activityDefine Settings for Order Transfer.

IBPP comes with a fallback implementation. The following checks are executed to determine the IBPP relevance for a goods receipt item:

• Batch number is available

• Material is batch managed

At least one attribute of the material’s classification class is mapped to the preference synchronization API (see Customizing activity Define Mapping of API Fields to Batch Characteristics)

The ID type is always “1” – “Batch”.
