In this Customizing activity, authorization settings are configured based on the RBD area and posting status. Settings are configured to define:
- Which activity the processor requires (for authorization object RBD_EDIT)
- Which posting status the processor cannot have set for the planned record
to be able to grant a release.
The posting statuses must have been defined.
In RBD area 0001, settings are to be configured for the release statuses 10, 20, and 30. To be able to set release status 10, the processor must be authorized for activity 02. The processor must also be authorized for posting status 20 and the processor must not previously have set release status 10. To be able to set status 30, the user requires authorization activity 10 and must not have previously set release status 20.
