In this IMG activity, you define the account types with which the RBD portfolios are created in the system. You also assign these account types to a value adjustment method here.
The RBD component supports the following value adjustment procedures:
IVA - Individual value adjustment of capital, interest and charges
FVA – FVA with risk indicator (percentage value adjustment for certain products in the source system with risk indicator similar to the dunning level in SAP Loans Management)
The value adjustment procedures are permanently defined RBD functions.
You want to create account types for Basel II, IVA and consumer loans. The value adjustment procedure IVA is used for individual value adjustments, the FIVA procedure is used for Basel II and the FVA procedure is used for consumer loans.
