/IBS/ZIK_BW - Define Flow Type Determination for Position Management (New)
General Material Data CPI1466 during BackupThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this Customizing activity, RBD flow types are assigned to the corresponding position or requirement fields of the table IPX: Amounts of Valuation.
You need to have made the settings in the following activities:
Assign the position or requirement fields (field name in balance record) of table IPX: Amounts of Valuation the RBD flow type to be used. Make this assignment depending on the adjustment effect category, valuation method, RBD area, risk provision position, and the impairment categories old and new. Also use the dropdown list Debit/Credit Indicator to determine whether the flow type is DEBIT or CREDIT.
The following examples refer to the assignment of a requirement field and a position field. The requirement field is identified by the abbreviation "REQ" for requirement. Position fields contain the abbreviation "BAL" for balance.
- The requirement field REQ_AP(change requirement for current period) is to be assigned for the combined effect (CO) of RBD flow type 131D (allocation of value adjustment IFRS). The valuation method is 20, the RBD area is 0001, and the risk provision position is 10 (value adjustment IFRS). This is a CREDIT flow type that is to be valid for all impairment categories.
- The provision field BAL_AP(risk provision position of current period) is to be assigned to RBD flow type 3U1D (transfer of value adjustment inflow current period HGB) for the effect of the change of impairment category (IC). The valuation method is 20, the RBD area is 0001, and the risk provision position is 12 (value adjustment HGB). This is a CREDIT flow type. The risk provision position is to be transferred from impairment category 01 to impairment category 02.
Example | Adjustment Effect Category | Valuation Method | RBD Area | Risk Provision Position | Impairment Category Old | Impairment Category New | Field Name in Balance Record | Debit/Credit Indicator | RBD Flow Type |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1. | CO | 20 | 0001 | 10 | * | * | REQ_AP | Credit | 131D |
2. | IC | 20 | 0001 | 12 | 01 | 02 | BAL_AP | Credit | 3U1D |
This Customizing activity supports wildcard characters. Wildcard is the name given to a placeholder in the form of an asterisk and allows you to make generalized settings for specific table columns. This minimizes the number of entries that need to be made and provides a better overview. Within this table, you can use wildcard characters for the fields Valuation Method, RBD Area, Risk Provision Position, Impairment Category Old, and Impairment Category New.
Note that the specific entries are processed first, followed by the general entries.
