In this Customizing activity, you control the status of processes that ended with single record errors. These processes are normally treated by the system as "Terminated" and therefore they may lead to process chain terminations. To prevent this, you can specify that the behavior is overridden. You can do this for each process category:

Start report: The start report represents the process as a whole within a process chain. A termination here may lead to a termination of the entire chain (however, the behavior here depends on the software used to schedule the process chain).

PPF: The Framework for Parallel Processing is used for reading the transaction data. Subprocesses that end with errors lead to termination of the process.

FuMan: The Function Manager behaves in the same way as the PPF.

The table is sample-enabled, which means you can maintain entries for specific processes and sample entries.

The override is recommended for all three categories, as a result of which single record errors can no longer interrupt a process chain.

Priority Process Start report PPF FuMan
1 ZZEXAMPLE _ X X
10 * X X X

In the example, the start report is not overridden for process ZZEXAMPLE, while everything is overridden for all other processes.
