Within this Customizing activity, you use the exclusion principle to define which valuation key dates are not to be considered by the recall procedure.

,,

The Customizing settings made here are used by the function IPX: Start Impairment Calculation.

When using the recall procedure, a recalling valuation is generally created for the day after the standard valuation. Key dates that are not to be recalled are entered in this table.

  • Valuations of the RBD area T001 and the valuation method 20 on December 31 are not to be recalled by the recall procedure on January 1. (See row 1)
  • Valuations of the RBD area T002 and the valuation method 20 that are posted on the 15th of the month are not to be considered by the recall procedure on the 16th of the month on a quarterly basis, meaning that valuations on January 15, April 15, July 15, and October 15 are not recalled. (See row 2)
  • Valuations of all RBD areas and valuation methods that are posted on the 1st of a month are not to be recalled by the recall procedure on the 2nd of the month. (See row 3)

Make the following settings:

RBD Area Valuation Method Period Start Time Periods
T001 20 1/1/2000 Yearly
T002 20 1/16/2000 Quarterly
* * 1/2/2017 Monthly

1/2/2017

You can use wildcards in this Customizing activity. Wildcard is the name given to a placeholder in the form of an asterisk and allows you to make generalized settings for specific table columns. This allows you to minimize the number of entries required and ensure a better overview. Note that the specific entries are processed first, followed by the general entries.

Within the table, you can use wildcards for the fields RBD Area and Valuation Method.
