In this activity, you maintain the attributes for the processing groups and subprocess steps with extended specification options.

In addition to assigning the implementing class to the processing group, as before, you can now also assign it for each process, differentiation characteristic, and step number.

The same applies for subprocess steps, which can now call other processing groups and/or implementations depending on the differentiation characteristic (only single-record type and package).

In both cases, the group or step can be deactivated. This is recorded with a warning in the log.

First maintain the following activities:

Specification of a step number is mandatory for the bundle, single record, and package subprocess group categories. It is however not allowed for the other processing groups.

The differentiation characteristic is used to find the correct entry. If the system does not find an entry for the differentiation characteristic, it reads again with differentiation characteristic ' ' (blank).
