/IPRO/MGT_CLS_ASSIGN - Assign Classes to Contents

In this step you define classes for classification systems and assign them to document contents. Classification systems enable you to search variables for documents and templates that are configured in follow-on steps.

Before you can configure the classification system for SAP Document Builder for the first time, you must configure the SAP Document Builder class types. You do this by running the report /IPRO/CREATE_CLASSIFICATION in the ABAP Editor transaction (SE38).

Classification systems are customer-specific. No sample entries are delivered.

1. Choose New entries.
2. Enter a document content identifier.
3. Enter either a template class number, a document class number, or both.
4. Save your entries.
