You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to assign a work center to a force element.

A work center can be assigned to both a force element and a higher level of an organizational structure. Within the deployed server scenario, not all hierarchies are distributed to the decentral system. The allocation of a work center will fail, if the work center was not assigned to the distributed force element but inherits the work center from a higher level.

This can lead to issues during the planned maintenance processes.

The BAdI can be used to define a default work center. The BAdI is called during the relocation process when no work center can be found.

The BAdI is also used in the relocation monitor if the selected force element has no work center.

Importing parameter (IS_FORCE) for the BAdI is the force element with all available data.

Exporting parameter is the internal work center ID (EV_OBJID).

The work center is only provided to the ongoing process if the work center for the given ID was found. If not, the process is cancelled with the same error message as above, and the BAdI is not executed.

The force element 'FRIGATE-001' was distributed. A support assignment to the force element 'DEPOT-NCG' was defined. The force element 'DEPOT-NCG' does not have a direct work center assignment, but inherits a work center from the force element for the higher level.

Only the force element 'DEPOT-NCG' is available in the deployed server system. The work center cannot be allocated. Relocation will fail because the required data from the force element is not available.
