In this IMG activity, you can define shipping data for processing deliveries for stock transport orders between storage locations.
The data you can set here is:
- Sales organization
- Distribution channel
- Division
- Ship-to party
The system gets the data required for a delivery from the storage locations involved in the process.
The system reads the header data of the delivery document, sales organization, distribution channel, and division from the source storage location. The system gets the ship-to party from the target storage location.
This data is only required and evaluated during the stock transport process if the source storage location has already been defined in the stock transport order. In addition, the IMG activity "Define Stock Transport Orders" must contain an SD delivery type for either the document type that is used and the target plant or the target plant and source storage location.
